Citrus Bergamia or simply; Bergamot, belongs to the Rutaceae family, which we know as citrus. The main component in Bergamot is Limonene, which has shown energising properties by decreasing mental fatigue, inducing relaxation, and improving cognitive performance and mood.
Lemon
Citrus limon, or simply Lemon, is part of the Rutaceae family alongside all our other favourite citruses such as Bergamot, Mandarine, Lime etc. It has long been a popular oil to boost mood, improve concentration, and heighten alertness, because of its concentrated content of Limonene, an organic compound that is naturally found in citrus fruits.
Benzoin
Benzoin resinous oil can be derived from the bark of several species of trees in the genusStyrax family. Benzoin has traditionally been used as a relaxant to relieve tensions, stress, anxiety, and nervousness. It is said to reduce stress and refresh the body and mind, which is why it’s a perfect ingredient for Colpo dell’onda.
Vanilla
Vanilla belongs to the Vanilloideae family, which is a subfamily of our much loved Orchids. The sweet and gentle scent of the beans is often used to help manage stress and anxiety levels, by helping to soothe and calm the body and mind. It’s the perfect ingredient to rein in the energising citrus oils found in Colpo dell’onda.
Sandalwood
Sandalwood oil comes from the heartwood of Santalum trees, which is commonly known as sandalwood. Thanks to the calming and uplifting character of its scent it has a solid reputation as a mood enhancer by addressing emotional imbalances, increased mental alertness, and supporting feelings of peace and clarity.
